However, when I took it out of the box and held it, I noticed how weighty it felt. It does NOT look or feel cheap. I get lots of compliments and people even think it's real! It is real sterling silver.... not plated! I was thinking it would be plated with silver and eventually turn my finger green. It is real silver though. I LOVE THIS RING!
